The expectation of NOT offending other groups of people is considered by many to be an unfair, unnecessary restriction on their free speech. Denigrating whole groups of people by words and deeds is considered to be a birthright. defines Politically Correct as:

Agreeing with the idea that people should be careful to not use language or behave in a way that could offend a particular group of people.

This phenomenon is not new, it is totally “American”.

Up until about 50 years ago it was not unusual for people in Government and Private Industry to talk and act like bigots in public. The USA, born making accommodations for slavery and many other forms of human abuse, is still harboring and promoting these evil practices more than 200 years later.

Equal treatment and opportunity has always been resisted by the USA citizens and culture and lately those resistance forces have been speaking out forcefully.

While campaigning in South Carolina in September, 2015 Donald Trump announced to his rally audience “I’m so tired of this politically correct crap.” Trump told them that he’s a ‘straight-talking, shoot-from-the-hip kind of guy’. He surged to the top of the polls.

These assertive bigots ignore that the people targeted by their ugliness have been putting up with that crap for centuries. These bigots are usually super-sensitive to any similar negative comments made about them and their characteristics and/or ancestry.

Terms like ‘Reverse Discrimination” make me laugh. These ugly people have forced others to endure their mistreatment and suppression of opportunities and even the right to live. They live off the fruits of their victim’s labor and deaths while yelling about their own rights being stifled.

Trump has made Bigotry Politically Correct Again - small

Those who complain are usually the same folks saying ‘I never had any slaves” or ‘I never killed any Native Americans’. They ignore that slave labor and lives, and Native American lives and land are STOLEN GOODS which they profit from economically, socially and politically.

My message to the millions of people bitching about Political Correctness –

  • Learn how to stop being such oppressive and abusive bastards
  • Think about how people you are quick to criticize provided the resources that underpin your lifestyle
  • Remember that lives and land were stolen during the conquest of this continent

The discomfort you feel in being asked to watch your words is nothing compared to the suffering you and ‘your kind’ have imposed on others.

If you need this message in cruder terms I can provide them for you.

As a black man born and raised in New York City I learned how to survive in the "neighborhood" and in business.
