Bobby Jindal was elected Louisiana Governor in 2008, The same year Barack Obama became President. He is the son of immigrants from India and was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in June of 1971. Based on his public statements I guess he believes himself to be a full-blooded “American” because he hangs out with Republican Conservatives. They let him run on the Republican ticket for Governor and now, as my daddy would say, He is “smellin’ himself”! (The modern translation would be “he thinks he’s all that”).
In an op-ed article published by Politico.com called “The End Of Race”, Bobby Jindal lashed out at minorities to mark the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech. Instead of standing up against the continuing acts of racism in this nation Jindal declared that minorities are responsible for the racism in this country:
“We still place far too much emphasis on our ‘separateness,’ our heritage, ethnic background, skin color, etc. We live in the age of hyphenated Americans: Asian-Americans, Italian-Americans, African-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Cuban-Americans, Indian-Americans, and Native Americans, to name just a few. Here’s an idea: How about just ‘Americans?’ That has a nice ring to it, if you ask me. Placing undue emphasis on our ‘separateness’ is a step backward. Bring back the melting pot. There is nothing wrong with people being proud of their different heritages. We have a long tradition of folks from all different backgrounds incorporating their traditions into the American experience, but we must resist the politically correct trend of changing the melting pot into a salad bowl. E pluribus Unum.”
What Melting Pot??? Are you talking about the systematic extermination of Native Americans to give their land to Europeans? Are you referring to the enslavement of people from other nations and shipping them here to be worked, raped and murdered at will by the conquering Europeans. Are you talking about the continuing economic, social, political, religious, legal, educational and other Bullsh*t discrimination all around us today.
Do you realize that when the British and other Europeans were invading the two continents in this hemisphere they were doing the same in your family’s home country? Many of the problems in modern India have roots in the British manipulation and conquest. Did your family believe the Land-of-The-Free, Home-Of-The-Brave hype?
Gov. Jindal, as a “Good American” you should look up the name “Crispus Attucks” and learn what happened to his black, former slave ass, when he let a bunch of passionate white partisans put him up at the front of the crowd. He proved to be an irresistible target because he was a menacing black mass on a field of white.
News Flash: When you wear your Un-White skin in the United States of America people notice it. They see you through their own eyes, not yours. You better recognize that you will never “blend” and be evaluated just on your personal actions, achievements and self-image.
Yes, I know you passed “American History” classes in school, but as a former Social Studies teacher I must tell you the courses were based on mythical interpretations of what has gone on in this nation. The Melting Pot NEVER existed. Ask your fellow Catholics how they were treated in this country. Where are the Native Americans who used to live in the land you now call Louisiana? Did they choose to sell it to the Europeans? Were their descendants given fair compensation and allowed to enjoy the benefits of “FREEDOM”?
Dear brown brother Jindal, don’t blame minorities for causing white people to be racist towards them. In four hundred years those of us who were here before your family arrived discovered that minorities could not end racism by conforming to “American” life as white people see it. You cannot do anything about your lack of white skin and the racists will never be color-blind. Even if you find a miracle bleaching product (and yes, that has been tried before) your DNA will betray you. It only takes “one drop” of Un-White blood to disqualify you and your loved ones as “Real Americans”. Those racists were well represented among those who created this country and their descendants see no difference between us. If they tell you that you are better than the other Un-Whites it is just a line from their Divide-And-Conquer script that they used in India, Africa, China and America.
