NAACP President & CEO, Cornell Brooks discussed the bombing of the NAACP office in Colorado Springs, CO when he appeared on the MELISSA HARRIS-PERRY Show on MSNBC, Sunday 1/11/15.

“There’s a certain kind of Newtonian Law of Social Justice at work in this country, namely, for every act for justice, there is an equal and opposite reaction for injustice”.

What a great quote. It acknowledges the struggles encountered by all who seek justice and a better life. The forces of injustice do not disappear when they are confronted. They push back. We must remember this and we must teach these facts of life to our children. The real-life events depicted in the new film “SELMA” bear witness to this fact. We must continue to press on for our freedom in spite of the continuing efforts to keep us down. We owe that to our ancestors and our children.
