fixing OBAMACARE2/3/2015 – The House voted 239-186 today to repeal the Affordable Care Act, the latest effort by the Republican-controlled chamber to scrap the law. The bill (H.R.596) also would direct panels to come up with a replacement for the healthcare law — though it doesn’t provide a timeline on any new legislation or what provisions it may contain.

What if a draft copy of a Republican Health Care bill was found in Republican House leader John Boehner’s suit jacket pocket by a minimum wage worker at the dry cleaners? Here is what it probably would say:

Trickle-Down Health Care Act

Trickle Down Health Care Program medium

  1.  You’re on your own
  2. Sink or swim
  3. I’ve got mine
  4. Government should not interfere w/ poor people’s right to be sick and die
  5. Subsidize big business. That’s healthy.
  6. If the founding fathers had intended for all Americans to have health care it would have been written into the Constitution (and the Slaves would have a 3/5ths Health Care Plan).

What’s the rush? Six years are not enough to come up with our own idea. We can’t think that fast.
